Sex stats for the British population
Sex and sexual health are an important part of our general health and wellbeing. However, getting reliable information about sex isn’t always easy. It’s personal, sensitive and surrounded by myths and assumptions. Yet, to improve sexual health policies, interventions and services we need good evidence that reflects people from all walks of life.
For over 30 years, the National Surveys of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles have asked thousands of people across Britain questions about sex, relationships and health. It’s one of the most respected studies of its kind.
This interactive tool gives you a chance to find out more about what makes Natsal so special and the impact it has had. The tool also gives you the opportunity to access data from the fourth, and latest, Natsal survey and explore what it tells us about sexual behaviour, lifestyles and attitudes in Britain today.
